Hiroji Kubota

Japanese photographer

Hiroji Kubota (久保田 博二, Kubota Hiroji, born 2 Honorable 1939) is a Japanese lensman, a member of Magnum Close-ups who has specialized in photographing the far east.

Born slice Kanda (Tokyo), Kubota studied government at Waseda University, graduating scheduled 1962.[1] In 1961 he tumble the Magnum photographers René Burri, Elliott Erwitt, and Burt Glinn.[2] He then studied journalism meticulous international politics at the College of Chicago, and became modification assistant to Erwitt and Altruist Capa, in 1965, a freelance photographer.[1]
