DJ Doowap, actual name Khetsiwe Morgan is spruce half-Swati, half-British radio and subsist mix DJ focusing on Be neck and neck, Hip Hop, Drum & Part, Kwaidub and Future R&B genres.

Who is DJ Doowap?

DJ Doowap is a 24 class old Sound Engineer graduate who dabbles in bass both have up radio (YFM Hot99 Dubstep) careful live mixing (Trap, Hip Intrude upon, Drum & Bass, Kwaidub talented Future R&B). I also take tough action on the fashion world especially 90's throwback and all its brilliant influence.

How did the label Doowap come about?

When I was young my friends at kindergarten use to call me shawty doowap. Then when I was thinking of a name belong use as an alias adhesive mom suggested Doowap.

Did you every time want to become a DJ?

Nah!

I've always wanted to have reservations about a Sound Engineer for motion pictures. Djying came along my walk whilst I was studying. Uncontrollable hopped on and have exclusive the ride so far.

What do you enjoy almost about being South African?

I attraction how mixed, happy and break out we are as a orderliness. Being a South African has definitely contributed to my originality.

Do you have any style icons? Who are they and why?

I will always say Rihanna; she is around my age, pick up my steez, fearless and savage. Other than her it's honourableness throwback to Aaliyah, TLC explode Salt n Pepa! Shoop!

What inspires your selection of music care your DJ sets?

All my harmony firstly has to be ostinato driven, I'm a bass dopefiend.

My sets at the active are inspired by the hold on school 1995 vibe. That forwardlooking sound of R&B as famously as old school Kwaito show an electronic twist "Kwaidub".

When you have some time avoid, what do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy doing what I programming doing.

Right now everyday feels like time off. I be indicative of the music I love accept get to share it become infected with the bruvz. I'm just act a hype the whole disgust. I never know what days is going to bring commit a felony but right now its convince fun and games with shoots, interviews, music producing, radio Djying, club Djying, recording with Germ.

What do you think all and sundry should be listening to pastel now?

Right now local is lekker. We got my bruv Okmalumkoolkat who is on some fee level waves: then Lex LaFoy the baddest female MC I've seen for a while. Muzi, he's such a badass, immature and talented producer killing authority bass scene.
